09/01/2009 It’s five years since Poland joined the European Union along with other countries from the region, the EU accession has transformed Poland’s manufacturing sector and consequently provides numerous opportunities for doing business in Poland.
At Impact we recognised this opportunity and like all businesses looking for additional revenue streams, we decided to take the appropriate action to promote our innovative range of product and services with the Polish market.
After carrying out specific market research, it was decided that our “route to market” would be best served by the appointment of an established professional Sales Agent with the Polish territory. The critical task of identifying agency representation resulted in a meeting with Jean-Francois Kubas - aka JFK - IKB Systems sp.zo.o.
JFK demonstrated to us not only his knowledge and contacts within the Polish market, but also a real understanding of the Impact business and technology. An agency agreement was concluded in January 2009 and both parties set about promoting Impact in the Polish market.
In the first ten months a total of 2 million (Euros) of business has been quoted and over 200,000 Euros of contracts have been secured.
