Impact has recently teamed up with Hildebrande GmbH and can now offer this "unique" approach for slitting knife dust extraction solutions.
The patented knife enclosure with JETSTREAM technology uses a complete new approach to highly efficient dust extraction, for dust generated during the slitting process at the slitting knife. It combines the latest know-how of electrostatic and high velocity technology.
This high velocity airflow is brought parallel to the knife itself and streams against the web direction through the knife enclosure, where air speeds of 60m/sec are reached.
