News: Impact Air Systems achieves Investors in People (IIP) award.

During the last 18 months, Impact Air Systems have undergone many changes to maintain and improve their position as the UK's leading supplier of waste extraction systems. The Impact group has undergone a series of management restructures to ensure key business strengths are developed and improved as well as allowing us to focus on our areas of weakness. These changes ensure Impact remains focused on our customer's needs and requirements whilst providing high quality, valve for money products, systems and services that exceed our customer's expectations.

Whilst value engineering, clever system design and advances in manufacturing technologies and product range ensure we stay at the forefront of our core business, here at Impact we recognise that people are our biggest asset and therefore investment in this area will ultimately ensure we remain ahead of our competitors and are able to offer our valued customers the levels of support they have come to expect.

In December 2006, Impact completed the final assessment by the East Midlands Quality Centre (EMQC) auditors and is pleased to announce that on the 21^st December 2006, received official recognition as an "Investor in People". The standards demanded by the EMQC are very challenging to meet and is increasingly seen as a measure of a quality employer and acknowledge the commitment of all of its employees.

In order to achieve the award a number of key milestones have been achieved which include development and implementation of a strategic business plan and an open team orientated management style. These measures allow all departments and all staff members to be clear on Impacts business objectives and given all the necessary tools to succeed in implementing the business plan.  

General Manager for Impact Air Systems, Nick Ball commented that, this award is a credit to the hard work, effort and team spirit that have been developed over the last 18 months. Impact has gone from strength to strength and where our competitors have failed, Impact will succeed and continue to dominate the market place.
