The separator is designed to handle a wide range of materials from the lightest of film to the heaviest of boards.

This space saving unit is the ideal solution for releasing process waste material from the conveying air stream.

Its unique "modular construction" means it can be easily expanded in size as further air systems are needed. Only Impact's units are built this way, gone are the days of "rip out and replace" when all you need is a little extra capacity from your existing system.

Impact can supply a range of separators units handling air volumes between 3,500 and 75,000 cubic metres per hour.

  • Replaceable self cleaning separator screen
  • Adjustable regulating aerofoil
  • Material discharge via a non leaking rotary valve
  • Tolerant to variations in system air volume and pressure
  • Material throughputs up to 25 tonnes per hour

The rotary valve is the perfect partner for the separator and provides a near perfect airlock between the separator and compactor or baler unit.

The rotary valve is a slowly rotating star shaped valve contained within a steel housing. It has deep pockets, which fill with material from the separator. As the valve rotates, the collected material is emptied into the compactor or baler unit. The pockets seal against the valve casing as they rotate, forming a physical barrier through which air from the separator is unable to escape. Air therefore leaves the separator through the screen plate. It ensures that there are no pressurization problems as all the conveying air stream is forced through the separator.

  • Modular construction - easily expandable
  • Available in 600mm, 800mm and 1000mm diameter rotor size options
  • 6-blade rotor construction. Near perfect sealing.
  • Wear resistant flexible rotor sealing tips. Longer life and lower maintenance.
  • Chamfered lead in to rotor casing. Quieter operation.
  • Motor driven speed reduction gearbox. Lower rotor speeds and less wear.
  • Motor over current sensor
  • Available in an auto reverse option for specialist applications
