The shredder unit is designed to operate in conjunction with a conventional waste extraction system, which conveys shredded material through a completely sealed ductwork pipeline to a remotely sited waste recovery plant.

• Throughputs in excess of 8 tonnes per hour (25,000 copies per hour broadsheet)
• Shredders mounted on a pneumatically operated traverse assembly, to facilitate the operational and standby conditions allowing waste copies to be collected in bins

To complete the package Impact can offer a range of general waste shredders and security shredder units which can be integrated into your waste extraction system. These shredders are low speed, high torque units making them perfect for the production area. Waste can be fed into the shredder hopper via a hydraulically operated bin tipper unit or power incline feed belt. The shredded material then exits the shredder unit and is conveyed to your waste plant via a range of ductwork.
